*   *    LAURIE! *     *
I'm Laurie. I have hair that makes Richard Simmon's hair looks good. I like giraffes and monkeys. I especially like monkeys. When I was born, my dad said I was either a boy or the ugliest girl alive. It's things like that that makes my self-esteem so high these days. I like a mixture of music from Tool to Weezer to Billie Holiday to Flock of Seagulls. I have an extreme love for the 80s that will never cease. I think I've seen The Breakfast Club about thirty eight times, even though I only like parts of it. Emilio Estevez is my boyfriend. I have a lawn gnome named Clyde. He's dear to my heart. Bruce Willis sings stalker songs to me at night. I watch TV a lot. I love movies to death. I hate the feeling, sound, word, thought of fleece. My nanny gave me a fleece sweater awhile ago. I like the smell of gasoline, freshly cut grass and chlorine. I like when my skin smells after I get out of the pool. I tend to bite my nails too much so my nails are gross and short and creepy. I can't stand having bumps in my hair. I have to have music. I cry during scenes like the ending of Revenge of the Nerds. Unpixelated Sims is funny, and kind of creepy. Laughing at drunk people makes for good times. Claire is my sex monkey. You just wish you were, too. I'm not on crack, although you'd think I was.

Feeling: Happy ^^
Comment: I use too many emoticons >< - My point proved.

*g* My bad. Ryan's name is technically spelled "Phillippe"...so sue me. Wait, don't. I won't have enough $ to see "Freddy Got Fingered", "Someone Like You" and "Josie and the Pussycats" with Aimée and everyone. @@ I don't have $ for those movies anyway *sigh*

My and muh daddy-chan are back on good terms - yay! Ack, I'm a horrible dishwasher! Everyone except Scott was outside in the garage and my dad ordered me to do the dishes. I flipped on the radio and began just *DANCING* like crazy around the house, getting dirty dishes in the sink and stuff. I was filling up the soapy sink [we have two combined @@] and I ran out to the living room, singing and dancing along to Atc's "Around the World." And ^^;; I forgot about the rapidly-filling soapy sink. Completely overflowed onto the floor and countertop. I had to clear off everything and had to use about seven small towels to sop it all up. >< You wonder why I hate doing dishes? That happened the very *first* time I tried doing dishes when I was, like, seven. Mommy-chan and me are planning to watch a movie tonight, if a good one's on. Daddy-chan just wants to watch hockey ><.... Men. Anywho, me and daddy-chan watched "Nell" with Jodie Foster and Liam Neeson today and it was good. My father's a horrible comedian *g*. Listen to this joke he told me that he heard: ' You know you're a redneck when you know what Nell's saying when she speaks.' -_-;;

Feeling: Pissy because I was awaken by my parents and brother screaming >_<

It's the most irritating thing to be in a dreamy state of sleep and be waken up by "blah blah blah...you don't pick up after yourself!...blah blah blah!" and then after twenty minutes of burying your head in your pillow and blankets and trying to fall back asleep. But then, since you *can't*, of course, you poke your head out the door and tell them to shut up because you're trying to sleep. A simple request, ne? You'd like to think. And now my dad's been coming in and leaning over the computer and trying to make a lame joke out of all of this continously and it's dragged on from there. He just gave me a massive, yawn-inducing lecture about whatever. I wasn't listening. ^^;; Yay, I have new updates for [tears of scarlet] on the main page. Well, he's kicking me off because I'm mad. How fair is *that*, you tell me.

Movie Recommendation of the Day: "Cruel Intentions" with Sarah Michelle Gellar and yummy Ryan Phillipe [sp?]. Evil, sarcastic, recent and just delicious!

Feeling: Happy but sort of bored. ><

I realize, yes, that I'm a freak. I've been watching TV all night and I just tuned in to the American version of Popstars: First Concert. It was good...my favourite member is Ann-Marie; she's pretty. Well, my eyes are tired but it's not even 10 yet. @@
Watched "The Skulls" too; actually, I missed the first half ^^;; because I was on the phone...it was okay and sort-of predictable but not really.
"...it's not that simple / it's not that simple / it's never that simple / it feels like the first time that we've fallen behind..."
You know what's a good song that always get stuck in my brain? "Anthem Year 2000" by Silverchair; mind you, I don't care for them but I've always liked this song since my brother downloaded it! ^^;; Well, I think I'm done for blogging my night away....that should be a song. Replace the lyrics "pissin' the night away" in Tubthumpin by Chumbawumba. ^^;; Remember when that was the greatest song? *g* Good times...good times...

Movie Recommendation for the Night: "Terminator 2" with Arnold Schwartzenegger [whew] and Linda Hamilton. Okay, this is a funny movie to me and my brother because of one of the psychiatric orderlies that makes us giggle immaturely everytime we see him. All-around fine movie. ^^

Feeling: My stomach hurts but I'm content. It's Friday...^^

Yep, Friday. I have nothing planned but that's the way I like my weekends - spontaneous and impulsive. I'll probably invite someone over or go to someone's house. Go shopping and do some homework on the side. My mom and I aren't fighting right now; we're in this peaceful mother-daughter mode which is oddballishly freaky. ^^;; Is "oddballishly" a word? -_- It is now. Well, I sat with my brother's girlfriend, Nancy [who's a doll ^^], on the bus riding home today. We talked from teachers to horses [she owns some] and to a girl on my bus who stares at people. We'll nickname her Stare, which is commonly obvious enough. Don't worry, you won't forget her name. Anyway, Nancy and I were talking the whole way home and Stare just kept *STARING* at us. I mean, geez, *not* your conversation, look away at least! That's kind of rude if you ask me. But hey, I'm doin' good. ^^;;

Movie Recommendation of the Night: "8 Seconds" with Luke Perry and one of the Baldwin brothers [I always mix them up!]. Incredibly sad tearjerker.

Feeling: Fine but a bit pissed off, if you ask me. Which you wouldn't because I'd rip your hair out. >_<

Not much homework. I'm planning to take a bath soon to relax. *pouts* Argh! I am constantly getting disconnected from the Internet. This is the second time so far and I'm getting pissed off because of it.
"...but there's nothing more sadistic than an infant waving his pistol in my face / he wants me right down on my knees, crumbling in disgrace..."

I'm putting resumes in at: Tim Hortons, Wal-Mart, Chapters, and more. I'm deadset about not applying at McDonald's. I eat there so I'm not keen [haha...Karie's '20s word...] on knowing how much fat or grease goes into my food ^^
The good reasons, ne? Well, *fiddles around with cords and hooks* I'm trying to set up my scanner so I can pop a little cut-out pic of me at Christmas. I have [although you won't be able to see it] this lacy dark purple dress my nanny got me around that time. It's a bit too big but so pretty! Very vintage.
*Ten Minutes Later*...
AHHH!!! I'm so mad! I can't frickin' hook up the frickin' scanner and it won't WORK! I've plugged in a million combinations into the computer and into the scanner and *NOTHING*! And my family's looking at me, dull-eyed, "Get _____ to do it. I'm watching TV right now." Well, then _____ says he/she'll do it *later* but I don't want it later! I want it now! If I *WANTED* it to be done later, you'd say the same frickin' thing, now wouldn't you!!

Movie Recommendation of the Day: "My Dog Skip" with Frankie Muniz and Kevin Bacon. ^^;; I know, a complete corndog of a movie but it's funny and sad. I swear, by the end of it, my mom and I were hugging tightly, just *BAWLING* ^^;;

Feeling: Okay and just a wee bit hyper o_O

:P This blog has no point whatsoever. I just went from a good mood to a bad one for absolutely *no* reason. I'm wondering how to get my blog background to be black....Hmm...blogger-experts? Help me...^^;;
