*   *    LAURIE! *     *
I'm Laurie. I have hair that makes Richard Simmon's hair looks good. I like giraffes and monkeys. I especially like monkeys. When I was born, my dad said I was either a boy or the ugliest girl alive. It's things like that that makes my self-esteem so high these days. I like a mixture of music from Tool to Weezer to Billie Holiday to Flock of Seagulls. I have an extreme love for the 80s that will never cease. I think I've seen The Breakfast Club about thirty eight times, even though I only like parts of it. Emilio Estevez is my boyfriend. I have a lawn gnome named Clyde. He's dear to my heart. Bruce Willis sings stalker songs to me at night. I watch TV a lot. I love movies to death. I hate the feeling, sound, word, thought of fleece. My nanny gave me a fleece sweater awhile ago. I like the smell of gasoline, freshly cut grass and chlorine. I like when my skin smells after I get out of the pool. I tend to bite my nails too much so my nails are gross and short and creepy. I can't stand having bumps in my hair. I have to have music. I cry during scenes like the ending of Revenge of the Nerds. Unpixelated Sims is funny, and kind of creepy. Laughing at drunk people makes for good times. Claire is my sex monkey. You just wish you were, too. I'm not on crack, although you'd think I was.

:D Jen N. and I went to mall today out of sheer boredom. Her mommy picked me up a little after twelve. We basically just window-shopped and gossiped and checked out guys until around two or three. Jen bought the new Krystal CD at Music World. We wandered for a bit, ate lunch from Tim Hortons and wandered more. She had 38 bucks, I had seven or eight XD Jen dragged me into Toys R Us, where we skateboarded in the aisles, took pom-poms ( recited the theme song from Bring it On ^_^ with children watching intently ) and cheerleaded around, pressed all buttons and voiced toys on shelves, danced to the dancing Who Let the Dogs Out? dog. Sigh, being a child again is fuuun. Anyway, then we played racing games in the mini-arcade in the main mall hallways. We sucked...badly. =D We forgot which was the gas and which was the brake pedal! After wasting three bucks on that 30-second shiznits, we walked to Chapters. Picked up sex books then left them in the gardening section; sat near the fireplace with our books then decided we wanted a drink. So we walked through the mall, Chapters and outside collecting any change we could find. We eventually gathered forty cents from our own pockets. Found a jammed quarter in a candy machine - took a pen to it and released it! ^_~ *THEN* ( this gets funny ), Jen and I sat on the ledge beside the change fountain. She pretended nonchalantly she accidentally dropped money in it and stole thirty cents *LOL* Nothing past that.
We only had half an hour left so we walked back into Chapters, sat at the fireplace couches and read. But but but, a freaky-looking guy sat down across from me and a girl that kept laughing at her book and looking at Jen and I were there. I began giggling helplessly. I think the guy thought I was laughing at them. So I just stood up and walked around. I got a romance novel and showed it to Jen immaturely. We found a spot: "...her body was close to orgasm as the dildo pressed in deeper..." Needless to say, we left the book quickly. @@;; But we laughed anyway.

So that was my lovahly Saturday afternoon. ^^ When I got home, I realized Brad busted up his knee on his bike. Probably broken or something. My parents are at the hospital with him now. He'll most likely have to stay home all week -- horrible damage to school/homework. Since today and yesterday were goofy, fun, happy times...tomorrow is my homework-study day. Because I have a Tech test on Monday, *and* a Math test. And an Art poster thing due. M'eh.

I just woke up from a lovely sleep...sort of. I went to bed at 10:15 O_O!! I was sleepy so I put on my Blink 182 CD, slipped on my headphones and fell asleep z_z I woke up once because I was freezing. Another time because I saw it was 6:30 and I was convinced it was Monday and not Saturday.
Last night was awesome. Josslyn invited Jen and Julia and I to come over until around 10 so we did right after supper. We watched Much Music and then laughed at Goliath ( her mini hyper dog ) who was jumping up at the TV screen at a picture of running buffalo ( bison! ) and licking the screen. :D Then we made popcorn and talked until Josslyn got the call. ^_^ It was Louise, who wanted us to babysit. Louise lives right next door so we tramped onto the highway and did piggybacks and waved at oncoming cars until we got into the driveway.
We watched cartoon shows, played some IQ 2000 game ( Julia sucked ) which had the EASIEST questions XD, then we ate chips and dip while talking. This week, we're going to the mall to get skirts for the dance. Because hardly any of us have skirts. And then we're getting our nails done ( I won't enough bling bling so I'll just grow mine out ^_^;;; ) and then going to the Marc Garneau dance too. Then, at the same time, Scott and Julia's dad/mom arrived to pick each of us up. So we had our hugs and waves and goodbyes and I got to carry Scott's subwoofer on my lap on the ride home! ^____^v It, like, pulsates your whole body but it was quite comfy. We listened to "Because I Got High" by Afroman, blaring it. =D It was quite fun.
And bahh, my party is next weekend. This weekend was too much of short notice so we are planning it next. Julia is my new personal planner >D ( sorry....go carrot!! )
WOW. I just remembered my dream. I won't write it but I have to call Aimée....o_o....ciao....

Listening to: The sirens on the television which my mother has been glued to
Consuming: My fingernails

I have been in a state of numbness, shock and sorrow for the past two days. I can't do anything to help the victims. Except give blood. I stayed home today because of menstrual nausea and cramps. I watched the news with Mommy and then took yesterday's newspapers and cut up all the pictures and headlines and some articles about the US terrorism bombings/such and put them in a brown envelope. I sealed that envelope in a cardboard box and wrapped the box in packing tape. I will give it to my children and they will give it to their children. I want them to know what Canada and the US went through. It's the least I can do.

I am such a sick girl. I feel somewhat important because I lived history - which is true. Something that changed the whole world just happened, two days after I turned sixteen. My grandchildren could read about this in their history books at school. I'll be the withered old nanny, saying: "I remember what I was wearing that day and everything that happened and blah blah blahness..."

I'm not really paying attention to the President's speeches. But I do know that US will probably give Afghanistan an ultimatum: Give us Osama bin Laden in so-and-so amount of time or we bomb you. And they will too. They probably won't need Canada to help fight; They got enough armies and militaries and all that. Oh, that bomb threat? Mommy told me it was just a "prank." I'd give that joker a piece of my mind.

Today, while watching CBC, Mommy and I saw people interviewed. They were bawling and holding up pictures of their relatives that were lost, and all the info on their family. One girl was in tears, gasping for air while trying to ask the audience to find her father. ;-; Mommy and I were sharing a Kleenex box. And then, my mom heard about this girl who called her mother from WTC and she was all "Mommy, I love you. I don't think I'm going to make it. Mommy..." I didn't see it since I was sleeping then, but Mommy told me it reminded her of me.

This is so stupid. And terrifying. I cried when I got home because of the horrible news. Everyone in the world, no matter how busy or secluded, has heard this. A suicide-mission plane carrying 68 innocent passengers crashed into one of the twin towers of the World Trade Center. Another near Pittsburgh, most likely directed towards Camp David and another plane into the Pentagon.
I hate this. I hate what our world's become. People against people. Country against country. A town over...received a bomb threat, just because of our military base. They are up in arms, alert and ready. My brother told me that when he saw the news earlier, they zoomed in on one of the formerly-standing towers and the footage showed people jumping to their deaths storeys below so they wouldn't burn.
Two more building collapsed after the first tower.
I don't like preaching about God all that often but when I do, I have a good reason. This is it. I am horrified, disgusted, terrified and so shocked. But not one of those people died by accident. God decided each and every one of them would die that day - no matter how tragic on their loved ones. I am glad I'm going to Heaven. Because when I die, I have a purpose and a good one.
People are declaring it's the starting of World War III. I read about the world wars and how scary it was. I am in shock; New York is only six hours away. All the flights are grounded, for the first time in history. Only military planes are flying. And there are people in Jerusalem dancing and laughing because this sickening incident happened. I WAS HAPPY TODAY AND NOW IM CRYING BECAUSE TERRORISTS DECIDED IT WOULD BE A GOOD DECISION.

Listening to: "U Remind Me" - Usher
Consuming: The infamous Oreos and milk

Anyway, today was mundane Monday. Fun, a little happy, confusing and slightly boring. Basically, a typical school day. Turns out, I'm PTing grade ten history...@@;; I almost *FAILED* that class last year! I have Art to finish and some Math to BS on. :D Anyway, my math teacher is a *real* pain. Like, seriously.

Last night, I talked to not just Rae-chan but Donovan-koi too! Okies, he's not *my* koi..it's just habit. =P Anyway, I'm pimping Wal-Mart. XD Rae-chan has a Tennessee accent!! ^_^ So cute. There were a few pauses but we quickly filled them. Anyway, seems to be the rule now that since Scott is eighteen years of age, he gets the password for all the locked-out channels.

I switched back lockers today ;-; They were threatening all those who moved without notification or reason, that they would cut off the locks. So I'm right across from Josslyn now instead of Aimée! ^ ^; Next weekend, I'm definitely having a party. All those that I can think of are invited =D:

-Claire, Aimée, Meghan, Jen Z., Jen N., Julia, Josslyn, Tanya, possibly if Louis Phillip wants to come, and I dunno. Whoever wants to come. Everyone I forgot to mention it to, were threatening their own invitation >D Okay, yeah, I'm getting kicked off. Later!
