I'm Laurie. I have hair that makes Richard Simmon's hair looks good. I like giraffes and monkeys. I especially like monkeys. When I was born, my dad said I was either a boy or the ugliest girl alive. It's things like that that makes my self-esteem so high these days. I like a mixture of music from Tool to Weezer to Billie Holiday to Flock of Seagulls. I have an extreme love for the 80s that will never cease. I think I've seen The Breakfast Club about thirty eight times, even though I only like parts of it. Emilio Estevez is my boyfriend. I have a lawn gnome named Clyde. He's dear to my heart. Bruce Willis sings stalker songs to me at night. I watch TV a lot. I love movies to death. I hate the feeling, sound, word, thought of fleece. My nanny gave me a fleece sweater awhile ago. I like the smell of gasoline, freshly cut grass and chlorine. I like when my skin smells after I get out of the pool. I tend to bite my nails too much so my nails are gross and short and creepy. I can't stand having bumps in my hair. I have to have music. I cry during scenes like the ending of Revenge of the Nerds. Unpixelated Sims is funny, and kind of creepy. Laughing at drunk people makes for good times. Claire is my sex monkey. You just wish you were, too. I'm not on crack, although you'd think I was.

and i ALSO remembered something funny. eli, a punk in my PT class, likes to flirt with me to make me laugh/blush. well today we were walking out of class (after yesterday's episode of him hitting on me obviously and saying we'd get married :P) and i was in front of him. him and jake were behind me and then all of a sudden, eli's like "hey laurie, you have a hot ass" i grinned and said thanks. he laughed SO hard about that -- like i was supposed to return the "compliment"?? it was all good and fun though

woo, i love my schedule :D "call now 1-800-546-7777! *squish*" and now i can dance because i have cool hair <-- references from my previous post about our tech commercial :) i got so many weird looks and comments
plus, kirk was being a retard today in math lol. he tapped his foot for like fifteen minutes during our worktime repeating "laurie's gay" over and over again. i was laughing and finally gave up. he stopped...then alls i hear is "tap tap tap" haha. anyway, then chris talked about kidnapping me with chloform ;) woohoo and kirk kept pulling on my hair on the bus, ripping off my hairtie. he finally grabbed it and then as i was fighting for it, chad reached back and snatched my headband lol, i'm so helpless. and since i have this HUGE poofy pimp coat, i cant move very well. i was immobilized. but it was funny =) i love that bus. i do believe i will take pictures of the backseat before grade 12 - so you, audience, can put faces to....text? hehe later mofos

Well, I'm in for a long blog today. I'm in the mood. I just finished all my PT homework, which was basically cutting & pasting & all the like for an hour. I'm looking over Mom's Oprah list of books and Brad's trying to get on the computer. Ah, this weekend was hellish-goodish.
On Friday night, I slept over at Aimée's. We rented "Girl, Interrupted," "Tales of the Unknown," "Whatever It Takes," and then watched "Gia." GI was excellent; TotI was completely 70s retarded and since it was supposed to be scary then, it was not even stupid-funny to us. Just confusingly stupid ("Do you have the time?" "Time...? Time? Time for you to DIE, Jack!" :D). WiT was very good, I liked it alot :) "Accordion Boy" was my favourite. Gia, since it was 5 in the morning then, was boring to me because I was dead tired. I fell asleep at the most important parts but kept waking up to the talking scenes. Blah.
On Saturday, my parents picked me up at 2 p.m. and we drove to Toronto. We dropped off my dad, since he was flying to Seattle. Drove back, and had long talks about ironic jobs, drinking/drugs, rape, death and all sorts of random topics. It was all good. So then I watched my late night shows, went online and was a electronic nerd all night.
On Sunday, I woke up at 1:30 p.m. so I got up and called Ashley. I went over to her house after much begging from my mom's part (she didn't want to drive me :P) but finally, I got there. We watched Tree Toss 2002 on Much Music while doing our long, stupid art homework. And, as usual, we procrastinated and then watched "Night at the Roxbury" which I hadn't seen the whole thing off and loved it!! =D So friggin' funny. Finally, we finished up and ate dinner with her parents. They love me because...I'm taking a Tech, lol, and Ashley's not. What the frig. But then before her mom could drive me home, we looked at pictures of her and her friends and took pictures of each other for her bedroom ;D Then went through her grade school books. I laughed forever because there's this one page on a report card of her writing (in, like, kindergarden): I LERND TO READ lol. And then I did my strenous leftover Art homework and yeah. Wahoo.
And since I didn't explain well enough below, the tech commercial we had to shoot was for our crazy original-titled product "Magic Stuff" which magically turned my "nest into the best" haha. We suck so bad. But I had fun trying to hit on the old people who wander around our school unexplainedly.

Grah. I came home at lunch today because I was feeling crappy; still am. I have this killing headache and cramps :\ And I'm supposed to be doing Peer Tutoring but since Mom's vacuuming downstairs, what the hey. Tech was fun today :D We filmed a video basically of me being a retard in front of the camera with my hair like: ((((o)))))
The circle is my face. The brackets, obviously, is the hair. Woo. And I'm spent :P
