I'm Laurie. I have hair that makes Richard Simmon's hair looks good. I like giraffes and monkeys. I especially like monkeys. When I was born, my dad said I was either a boy or the ugliest girl alive. It's things like that that makes my self-esteem so high these days. I like a mixture of music from Tool to Weezer to Billie Holiday to Flock of Seagulls. I have an extreme love for the 80s that will never cease. I think I've seen The Breakfast Club about thirty eight times, even though I only like parts of it. Emilio Estevez is my boyfriend. I have a lawn gnome named Clyde. He's dear to my heart. Bruce Willis sings stalker songs to me at night. I watch TV a lot. I love movies to death. I hate the feeling, sound, word, thought of fleece. My nanny gave me a fleece sweater awhile ago. I like the smell of gasoline, freshly cut grass and chlorine. I like when my skin smells after I get out of the pool. I tend to bite my nails too much so my nails are gross and short and creepy. I can't stand having bumps in my hair. I have to have music. I cry during scenes like the ending of Revenge of the Nerds. Unpixelated Sims is funny, and kind of creepy. Laughing at drunk people makes for good times. Claire is my sex monkey. You just wish you were, too. I'm not on crack, although you'd think I was.

I think I am a compulsive eater, now thinking about it hard. I told myself yesterday to not have anything for 2-3 hours as the pill bottle instructed. While chatting to Claire on the phone, however, I grabbed a celery stick and a cheese/lettuce sandwich without even realizing my "self-discipline." I'm not fat or anywhere close to it, but I'm worried about my eating habits. I eat celery, which is healthy. Not much else on my diet is, with an exception for orange juice (does that count as a healthy contribution?) Well, whatever. I WANT MY WAFFLES!

Wow, yesterday I went to bed really early -- 9:50 p.m. On a Friday night. I didn't have any money or ride to see a movie with Candice last night, and I would've probably fallen asleep in the theatre anyway. Argh! My mom found these sweet pair of oldskool Converse-like sneakers and won't let me wear them, grah. I've been having the WEIRDEST dreams lately, for example, seeing Joey Tribbiani off "Friends" in Rachel Green's shirt drawer and her mother scolding him for hours; seeing that Sprint lady be afraid of heights in a big air balloon ride. Like, wtf?
I woke up at 7:44 a.m. today and was too tired to actually wake up so I moved around and opened my eyes alot for an hour or so, but drifted in and out peacefully. Finally, at 8:36 a.m. I got up and scared my family with my bushy morning afro (first picture)
But yeah. Sometime later, I'll type up all the shiznit that went down at Mary's two weekends ago. In an hour or so, I'm going to call Claire. Today is a day of random statements. I need to take my pill (I forgot to last time) after I eat my waffles, then wait a couple hours. Frig, it bothers me because I practically have to starve myself to take these pills on an "empty stomach." Screw that. I don't care if I get sick later, I need food in my system NOW or I'll be sick anyway. Am I compulsive eater?

Today consisted of Jimmy Eat World music, hockey arenas, quilts and nachos, priests, lawyers, mass, homeroom, Tanya getting off on my plastic bag (inside joke), Uncle Jesse jokes, a teacher's swiveling head, "GO ZAMBONI!" and taxi cabs with mittens and fruit. Oh and "Who Wants To Be A Millionaire" games played repeatedly:
Indie Eyes: WGDOHWDGJOW!!!!!! I just remembered I'm angry at that STUPID STUPID GAME!!!!!! I was at ***500, 000*** mark and had ONE lifeline left (ask audience which always picks the right answer :P) and asked it and it was WRONG!!! !GS>DGDFS_HG!!!

Winter Olympics are coming up. I'm on Team Western Samoa so yeah -- we're all tribal and such. I already got my mask and costume almost done because I'm nerdy like that. Oh, and I got the most kickin' sticker pasted on my rainbow-y Wal-mart shirt today :D They are both the awesome and I will scan them tomorrow. Yeah, I'm gonna scan the material of my shirt, and gonna scan the sticker too. Because they are that cool. And onto finish English homework.
