I'm Laurie. I have hair that makes Richard Simmon's hair looks good. I like giraffes and monkeys. I especially like monkeys. When I was born, my dad said I was either a boy or the ugliest girl alive. It's things like that that makes my self-esteem so high these days. I like a mixture of music from Tool to Weezer to Billie Holiday to Flock of Seagulls. I have an extreme love for the 80s that will never cease. I think I've seen The Breakfast Club about thirty eight times, even though I only like parts of it. Emilio Estevez is my boyfriend. I have a lawn gnome named Clyde. He's dear to my heart. Bruce Willis sings stalker songs to me at night. I watch TV a lot. I love movies to death. I hate the feeling, sound, word, thought of fleece. My nanny gave me a fleece sweater awhile ago. I like the smell of gasoline, freshly cut grass and chlorine. I like when my skin smells after I get out of the pool. I tend to bite my nails too much so my nails are gross and short and creepy. I can't stand having bumps in my hair. I have to have music. I cry during scenes like the ending of Revenge of the Nerds. Unpixelated Sims is funny, and kind of creepy. Laughing at drunk people makes for good times. Claire is my sex monkey. You just wish you were, too. I'm not on crack, although you'd think I was.

Karie's coming to pick me up. We're going to Tim Horton's and then to Wal-Mart and then back to her house to watch "Joy Ride." Oh yeah.
The movie, The Virgin Suicides, is amazing. I love it so much, and I want to see it again :D Also, "Almost Famous" is well-done as well. As you can tell, I've been slouching all around today with movies and TV, yeah.
I got a call about an hour ago, beginning like this. (J - Julia. M - Me)
M: Hello?
J: WHERE WERE YOU?
M: Uh...what?
J: I TRIED TO GET AHOLD OF YOU!
M: What the...??
J: ALL LAST NIGHT! THE PHONE WAS BUSY!
M: Is this Julia? [starts to laugh]
And then we laughed. It went something like that. She scared me :-( But she didn't mean it. And I just realized I've been listening to Kool and the Gang's "Celebrate (Good Times)" for half an hour non-stop. Now it's onto Joe Cocker's "You Can Leave Your Hat On" ;D Yes.

ARGH! I'm so angry at my English teacher, I could spit nails. I have not gotten a mark higher than a 70, unless I'm paired with Candice, whom Mrs Pidduck adores. On my most recent test which was fairly well-done? 62%. And I'm getting my criminal punishment essay back on Monday. My mom and dad and brother all liked it, and they're almost all literary people, and so if she marks it unfairly, my parents are having that conference. Without my consent, but I don't care. It's TWO MONTHS into the new semesters and I'm half-failing.
:( This morning, I was CONVINCED it was a weekday which really sucks. I got up at 6:30 a.m. and stood up, ready to get in the shower. What the frig :P And I have nothing to do today, maybe I'll call up Jen. I'm such a....

I just the weirdest dream. I'm scared too. It involved Indian-Eskimos throwing purply-red globs at me; David Usher at the Ice Olympics; a strange house with a girl from school inside; a bulletproof window where Brad proceeded to try to shoot through at me. Man...it was a nightmare beucase everyone was after me...
On the brighter side, it's Friday. Don't ask me WHY I'm up this early on the computer. I actually got up at 5:30 a.m and started going into the shower, thinking it was this time. My shower's over. Onto hair, Saved by the Bell and Cheerios. I love mornings.

I'm in the process of making dance plans with Chantale and college plans with Aimée. Oh, the future. I'm going to the community college (it sounds lame saying it, but it's a really really good school) for 2 years in Advertising. Okay, and since we're currently choosing next year's electives and stuff, I figured out my hopeful schedule.

I think my stomach's going to collapse. Or explode or something. And it's before school. I'm only on here because it snowed last night, and the satellite signal won't come through. Stupid thing. First day back - we watch the rest of "Lord of the Flies," which I hate. It's gross and morbid and I don't want fat crying Piggy with the glasses, to be eaten :-( Oh the suspense.
I hate it when one of your siblings doesn't wake up on time on a school day and then everyone else blames you for their sleeping in; "You should've woken them up!" WELL MAYBE! Maybe they sleep in a quiet room in the basement and I can't hear if the shower's going or not and JUST MAYBE they usually go upstairs this time so maybe I just thought they were a tad more busy than usual. >:( Yeah, that's right.
But other than that, I can't wait to be in school. I like my classes and seeing my friends all day everyday. Ugh, I need to go put on my makeup and brush mah teeth. Toodles.
