*   *    LAURIE! *     *
I'm Laurie. I have hair that makes Richard Simmon's hair looks good. I like giraffes and monkeys. I especially like monkeys. When I was born, my dad said I was either a boy or the ugliest girl alive. It's things like that that makes my self-esteem so high these days. I like a mixture of music from Tool to Weezer to Billie Holiday to Flock of Seagulls. I have an extreme love for the 80s that will never cease. I think I've seen The Breakfast Club about thirty eight times, even though I only like parts of it. Emilio Estevez is my boyfriend. I have a lawn gnome named Clyde. He's dear to my heart. Bruce Willis sings stalker songs to me at night. I watch TV a lot. I love movies to death. I hate the feeling, sound, word, thought of fleece. My nanny gave me a fleece sweater awhile ago. I like the smell of gasoline, freshly cut grass and chlorine. I like when my skin smells after I get out of the pool. I tend to bite my nails too much so my nails are gross and short and creepy. I can't stand having bumps in my hair. I have to have music. I cry during scenes like the ending of Revenge of the Nerds. Unpixelated Sims is funny, and kind of creepy. Laughing at drunk people makes for good times. Claire is my sex monkey. You just wish you were, too. I'm not on crack, although you'd think I was.

My brother drove me home today! I was happy. To those who don't know, Scott NEVER drives me into school or home so this was a rarity. Maybe because I ran out to his car, planted down on the seat and wouldn't move until he drove away :D Yeah, after school, I was just chilling around with my belly button growth (yeah, it's gross) and magazines and Full House episodes when my mom came home. Right off, she's like "Wanna go to the mall?"

So we went. I got a new red and white striped three-quarter sleeved shirt with a white collar. I love it. And I got new slip-on sandals because my other ones are super-ratty and falling apart. Then I bought the new Jimmy Eat World CD, Stoplight Red hairdye (yay for gutsy me!) and cute birthday cards for tomorrow's birthday party. Then, Mom and I bought a bunch of cheap Chapters books (one of them is "Don't Say a Word," which turned into a movie) so I'm excited about reading that one. After that, we ate Burger King, yelled at stupid drivers and I proceeded to change shirts in the middle of traffic. Woo. Then, she pulled over and I had to get out in the dark deserted road, run to the trunk and find the CD to put in the CD player (it's hooked-up in the trunk) :P It was scary. I was yelling at her things like "If I get kidnapped and carjacked and gangraped, you know who I'll blame...!" ;D

I'm hyper about my hair to see how it'll turn out, so I'm off to dye. Ha ha, I rule. >:D Today, we read this Law case where this guy Ramdass got sentenced and stuff. Read his name. Rammed ass. HA HA HA. I love Law class. And I hate that stupid "Where do we go now!" Axel Rose song out of my head but then I got back on Blogger, read my previous entry and got it right back in. Grahness.

Oh yeah, Mom and I went into La Senza and I tried on this ducky bra & underwear set (well, I just tried on the bra) and the set was $20.00 and we went up to buy it and I was happy. 'Cause duckies rule. And then, the girl wanted like $31.00. Turns out, they put $8 panties on a hanger with the $19.99 bra and they deceived us. We thought it was a set, when really it was just two separate items. We were very unhappy. :D Religion class was awesome today. Our "Sense of Touch" educational video got soft-core porn on us and Mr. Rashotte was taunted by us because we laughed at his selection of class movies. It was friggin' hilarious. AND NOW I NEED TO DYE OR SOMETHING. Results verified later.

:D Someone please explain to my question: "Why am I singing Axel Rose at 7 a.m. in the morning?!" But you know. Whatever. I'm missing Zack and the gang, so later ;P

The backs of my knees are sweaty. I hate that. My neck is stiff and it's SO humid in this house right now. My hair is especially frizzed today :-(
Jen and Josslyn's party is on Saturday.

It's Tuesday, isn't it? Yes. I made a collage for English, and since I don't have friggin glue - I'm leaving the pictures on the bristol board and hoping nobody jostles it. No doubt, Brad will be running through the house and knock it over. Pictures and phrases will go flying under the couch and I'll be screaming and such...maybe I should go move the bristol board..

:( I accidentally moved it around while putting it on my bed. FRIGGIT! Oh well.

The guy "Brett" off Full House today, was quite cute. He was in, like, third or fourth grade or something but man, he's probably super-hot now! :D I'm gonna go check out some list of sub-characters on a Full House fansite. Woo. His name is Sean Fox. I can't find any pictures, bah.

:D :D :D My mom's baking in the kitchen, listening to music on the TV. Suddenly, she starts flipping out, yelling my name. I walk in, all interested, and she's standing there in the living room. Dancing to Cher's "Gypsies Tramps and Thieves" and singing along, grinning all happy. The funniest thing all day. She's a geek like me, and I love her for it.

Tee hee! I have Matthew Good Band wallpaper for my computer desktop :D I'm giddy. And if anybody watched "Clueless" today (the series, not movie - which was on last night), they might've noticed Dionne's 'beau' and his pittystains on his gray fitted t-shirt. HA! ;P I'm so overly bored.

Yeah. I woke up right early today, nobody else was up so I got online. I don't actually make breakfast or read or anything, nope. I go online, ha. I'm such a dick. I have to MAKE presents for Jen, Josslyn & Meghan. I'm so poor and my parents can't give me an advance on my May allowance, so I'm making their gifts. Woo. And I have all this Law homework that is due tomorrow but I really don't feel like starting. It feels like it's four p.m. but it's only one something. I love that. It's all crappy and rainy and gray outside right now. Nothing is going on.

:D I was reading "Pop Goes the Weasel" by James Patterson after a big family breakfast, in my bed, when my mom came in my room. She was bored so she took one of my books off my floor, laid down with her head on my hip and started reading the book from the halfway point. We laid there and read for a good half-hour before my dad demanded her help with painting the kitchen or whatnot. It was a good moment though. Oh! Last night, we were watching "Cast Away" but my dad kicked me out of the room before Tom Hanks' character set off on his prepared raft with Wilson. Candice already told me about the demise of Wilson and I'm kinda glad I missed it -- I don't think I'd be able to handle something that sad when it happened.

I watched Spongebob Squarepants this morning; it was quite funny. Patrick Star had these inflatable pants and they popped and the cartoonists left a patch of the pants right on his crotch, to cover any obscenities ;D Weird. I just found a gray anklesock in the hood of my sweater :P That Ozzy Osbourne documentary-family show is good, I like it.

Five Favourite Phrases in Hollywood Movies:
1. "I always wanted to say/do that!"
2. "Don't slam that [slam] door!"
3. "Did I do that?"
4. "This won't hurt..."
5. "It's over. He's dead." (He's never dead when you say he is.)
