my dad's being a total snotbag today.
i leave for hosie's soon.
i cannot bring my camera, unless my mom comes with me, takes pictures (posed ones) and leaves with it.

i bought a disposable camera for this wonderful shindig though.
i want to know who Yay on my tagboard is...
my computer (my mom's old one) is set up in my room now, but it is not internet-ed yet.
sigh.
so all i can do is write on it, or play pinball.
i played pinball.
i listened to the top 40 while fixing my hair and it's not as detestable as i thought it to be.
i twisted my hair up and pinned it and clipped it, so its all just back there. i dont even know.
i haven't eaten all day - i want josie's food!!

i am getting my new jeans and new corduroy pants hemmed. i hope they turn out good.

For those who are not attending Josie's shindig, and are leaving within the next two days: I love you all, I'll miss you, I hope you have a spectacular and safe time at university/college/wherever! I hope that you don't forget your crummy Trenton roots, and that you'll write me a lot to keep me updated! Because if you don't....!! Don't be nervous (haha, I am so calling the kettle black here), don't be scared. i am home.
finally.
tomorrow commences the first day of orientation.
it still hasn't sunk in that everyone is heading off tomorrow.
i can sleep over at josie's, but i must be off early tomorrow so as to arrive at the 11 am barbeque.
nervous.
this morning, i was awaken by this really, really annoying bird.
it was in my dream, until i came out of my unconscious state.
i gathered enough energy to close the window and fall back into bed.
my new digital camera.
i was scared of it.
now i know how to take portrait shots, auto shots, landscape shots and movies.
and zoom.
and i can delete the pictures i dislike right away! so easy.
yet so scary-looking.
my dad keeps testing me: "wheres's the camera?"
"on my desk, in the protective bag."
as if he expects me to be all "oh yeah, it's just lying there on my floor - whoops!"
i probably won't be able to bring it to josie's but that's not too tragic.
i really cannot comprehend how fast this summer has gone by.
it's like...i don't even remember july.
august was a blur.
now everyone's leaving, and i feel like i've been left in the dust.
i know that i haven't at all, but i can't help the way i feel.
tomorrow's barbeque is for parents and students.
the college website has a countdown to orientation: eleven hours
woah.
this is all moving way too fast.
it's like my summer slipped right through my fingers and i can't get a grip on anything.

also, i saw a julia duplicate on the bus today: tall, gangly, native, patched jeans
she was like eleven years old
i was all "oh, julia."
the vma's are incredibly stupid
but i keep watching.
we just ordered pizza and it's gross
we leave tomorrow around ten am
all six of us are in the basement, watching crappy television
"MOTOCROSSED" - family channel
oh yes.
we played risk today. only for an hour though.
aaron quit because his allergies were bad.

oh man.
today, we woke up around eleven and rode the buses (all of us, except uncle brian) to hull, quebec.
to museum of civilization, to watch the imax films "BEARS" and "ADRENALINE RUSH"
bears was cool, adrenaline was very...monotonous
it was just about thrillseeking, except the focused thrill was skydiving etc, and not fast cars or whatever
we're eating corn cobs and steak tonight. mmm.
i am watching "say anything..." which i enjoy
because i heart john cusack.
i like the new radiohead cd. it's not spectacular, but it's pretty good
i was listening to it on the bus and i was only half-listening so maybe thats why i dont like it all that much.
my fingers taste like cheesy goldfish crackers.
aww, the car-sex scene in this movie is sweet.
uncomfortable-looking, but cute.
company commercials i hate extreme dislike for: mcdonalds, subway, zellers
six days until school starts.
on september 2nd, i have to go to the gym to get my schedule.

went shopping at bayshore
oh skanky girls galore
but some fun shaggy haired boys
i bought radiohead's "hail to the thief" cd and the "lord of the rings: the two towers" dvd
and a gumby keychain from Mrs Tiggy Winkle's.
and dove shampoo.
i hope that it's as wonderful as people claim.
i am eating a grape popsicle and watching tbs superstation
oh, roseanne reruns.
i got two blisters on my heels and i am sad.
rebecca and i has daypasses on the oc transpo today, and it's not like i read the bus every day
so that was fun.

Today:
- woke up around ten
- was having a dream about buying food at tim horton's
- lounged around until about one
- went to mini golf, where my team (uncle brian, josh, rebecca and i) cheated a lot
- i won "top golf player" out of our two teams (i cheated a lot...hee!) and a prize from my aunt
- we drove to kanata's KELSEYS restaurant
- it was good, but now i am full
- watching the simpsons
No movies.
Tomorrow is a day full of shopping (YAY!) and riding the buses. I am happy for that.
Today was fun, but felt somewhat incomplete. Considering we only were out for about four-ish hours.
Hmm.
Off to play The Sims.

today was a road trip
we drove to quebec where my uncle proceeded to drive erratically and mock the french.
we rented an eight person van.
it was huge and mafia-esque.
we visited Fort Colounge, which sucked. we drove by Storyland and i got excited.
so i took a pamphlet for julia
in FC, there's this old rusty delapidated tugboat on some lawn. scott and josh climbed inside to check it out, and i climbed on the edge and this french girl came outside of the main office and got mad haha.
after we left the fort colounge falls/chutes, we drove to cobden, where my grandparent's old campground is.
we stopped off at my great aunt ruby's house, but she was not home.
we arrived at the ottawa valley pentecostal campgrounds, and i was very excited!! i hadn't been there in YEARS. it seemed so much bigger back then....
i drove a golfcart though! yay fun.
then we swam in the lake, but it was too cold.
we (just my other five cousins and i) walked to the Tunnel of Love, then back to the camp.
we went canoeing, where we began playing "Battle Royale" which was fun. we'd ram our canoes into one another, and we had these rules:
- no grabbing another person's canoe and attempting to tip it
- no touching another person's canoe with the oars
- no alliances
haha. it did not last long at all.
my grandparents saw us doing this and made us get out though.
we drank hot chocolate, got bitten alive by bugs and drove home.
on the way home, we sang "row, row, row your boat" acapella-style hahaha, then "mockingbird" (dumb & dumber-esque) and amused ourselves in that way
it's been a busy early-rise day, and i enjoyed it, yay!
tomorrow's agenda: movies (? this is indecisive right now), dinner and minigolf
yeah. my twenty minutes online are up. bye now.

i had a big fight with scott last night
it was a quiet one
i began crying really hard. i couldnt stop for like an hour.

we went to church today.

we played monopoly today - i went broke and had to mortgage
then i saw rebecca cheat and i got mad
zach and i had a connection, doing a countdown for "speed 2: cruise control" which is clearly the worst movie ever.
